Job summary

VNA Health Group is hiring a Full-Time Hospice Home Health Aide to serve clients across Hudson, Essex, Passaic, Union, and Morris Counties. You will provide essential personal care, mobility support, and regular communication with patients and families, following the plan of care.

Responsibilities include documentation, infection control, and adherence to attendance and appearance policies, with a focus on compassionate, professional care in home settings.

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide certification required.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Car and a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Provides personal care services as established in the plan of care
• Assists patients with mobilization and rehabilitation
• Communicates with patients and their families on a regular basis

• Ensures compliance of agency infection control and safety policies
• Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
• Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Working Conditions / Physical Demand

Working indoors with client/customer contact; use of specific equipment as braces, bedpan, crutches, electrical bed, hoyer lift, personal automobile, walker, wheelchair, household appliances, vacuum cleaner etc.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $16.00 to USD $24.00.
