Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently, according to dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles, diagnose, and repair vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and special equipment
• Maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate with Service Advisor regarding additional services needed and provide repair estimates
• Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic
• Minimum 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
• B-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and eagerness to improve
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with team members
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
