Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently, according to dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles, diagnose, and repair vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and special equipment
- Maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Communicate with Service Advisor regarding additional services needed and provide repair estimates
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic
- Minimum 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
- B-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to improve
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with team members
- Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
