PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading name in the HVAC manufacturing industry to hire a dependable Cherry Picker Operator in Jefferson, GA. You will support picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control while upholding safety and quality standards.

This 6 am–2:30 pm schedule with OT as required offers hands-on material handling in a fast-paced warehouse. A High School Diploma or GED is required; you should be able to lift up to 35 pounds and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support picking/packing, loading/unloading, and general warehouse operations.
• Safely locate materials using established warehouse processes.
• Read packing lists and follow shipping/receiving protocols.
• Record and process turnbacks accurately.
• Process rework and purchase orders.
• Perform cycle counts and root-cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.
• Execute JDE transactions for your area.
• Perform 5S activities to maintain an organized work environment.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency.
• Maintain departmental quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Location: Jefferson, GA | Payrate; $18/hour | Schedule: Monday to Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm + OT as required

About the Role

As a Cherry Picker Operator , you’ll play an important role in keeping materials moving efficiently throughout the operation. You’ll support picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse activities while helping maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

What You’ll Do

• Support picking/packing, loading/unloading , and general warehouse operations.

• Safely and efficiently locate materials using established warehouse processes.

• Read packing lists and follow defined shipping and receiving protocols .

• Record and process turnbacks accurately.

• Process rework work orders and purchase orders .

• Perform and reconcile cycle counts while conducting root-cause analysis to identify inventory discrepancies.

• Execute JDE transactions related to your area of responsibility.

• Perform 5S activities to maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment.

• Identify and recommend process improvements to promote more efficient and effective warehouse methodologies.

• Maintain departmental quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment .

• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat as required.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and routinely lift items weighing up to 35 pounds .

• Commitment to safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified PIV Driver preferred.

• Experience working in a high-volume, high-complexity distribution or warehouse environment .

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies .

• Experience with warehouse management systems or JDE transactions is a plus.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
