Join to apply for the Chemistry Lab Technician role at Actalent.

We are seeking an entry-level Chemist to support the analytical testing of raw materials using Gas Chromatography. The Chemist will also be responsible for completing the approval and replacement paperwork associated with the products.

Responsibilities

• Review MSDS files (hard copy & electronic).
• Update WG MSDS’s for all blends.
• Review the CofA’s created electronically.
• Review GMP procedural book.
• Prepare all lab functions, including GC, approve samples before filling and new railcars, record keeping for samples, and update lab SOPs.
• Periodically clean the GC machine.
• Review VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations and follow EPA guidelines.
• Perform hydrometer testing for washer solvents.
