Cordant Health Solutions in Flagstaff, AZ seeks a Chemistry Lab Technician – Laboratory Operations to support daily chemistry workflows, load specimens on automated instrumentation, calibrate instruments, perform QC review, and maintain accurate records in a high‑volume lab.

Eligible candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a science field, have data entry skills, good hand‑eye coordination, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field – required
• Laboratory experience – preferred
• Data entry skills (alpha and numeric keyboarding) – required
• Strong hand‑eye coordination – required
• Ability to work in a high‑volume environment while maintaining quality – required
• Stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, bend and carry as needed

Responsibilities

• Load specimens using automated chemistry instrumentation
• Assist with instrument calibration, QC review, and initial analytical review
• Document preparations to fulfill compliance requirements
• Perform start‑up and verify calibrations, controls, and reagents
• Prepare and restock reagents and buffers
• Review test results for release; document discrepancies and trends
• Assist with maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies
• Maintain records for specimen preparation and chain of custody
• Follow safety protocols, PPE requirements, and decontamination procedures
• Maintain safeguards related to PHI
