Job summary

Cordant is seeking a self-motivated Lab Technician for Laboratory Operations in Flagstaff, AZ. You will prepare batches, sort specimens, scan CoC forms, and ensure proper labeling to support the testing workflow.

The role requires a High School Diploma, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a team environment. Shift options include evenings, with a differential for night hours. This is a part-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a laboratory or high-volume production environment preferred.
• Ability to interpret and follow complex written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare batches of samples by receiving and sorting urine and oral fluid specimens at your workstation.
• Read and scan Chain of Custody (CoC) forms and order tests in the system.
• Apply barcoded labels to samples for testing.
• Verify aliquot volume and hand-pour if required.
• Maintain proper chain of custody while transporting batches between departments.
