Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in chemistry or related science field.
• Minimum of one year working in a laboratory setting.
• Experience supervising student workers preferred.
• Ability to follow safety codes and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare chemicals, solutions and materials for chemistry labs.
• Oversee preparation facilities to ensure seamless teaching lab sections.
• Assure hazard-free work areas and optimize storage and equipment layout.
• Assist faculty with development and testing of new lab experiments.
• Pre-run proposed experiments to test efficacy and timing.
• Coordinate supplies and oversee lab demonstrations and safety training.
