Job summary

The University of Cincinnati College of Chemistry invites applications for the position of College Laboratory Manager. This role ensures undergraduate labs run smoothly, safely, and effectively across seven teaching spaces, overseeing preparation, inventory, procurement, safety, and student support.

Key duties include coordinating with faculty and TAs, maintaining lab environments, conducting safety training, and managing purchasing with SAP Concur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
• Seven (7) years of relevant work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
• Three (3) years of relevant laboratory, research support, or technical operations experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and tear down experiments for multiple undergraduate lab courses across seven spaces.
• Procure chemicals, supplies, and equipment for teaching labs and manage inventory.
• Ensure lab safety, PPE, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
