Job summary

The Community College of Baltimore County seeks a Chemistry instructor to teach lecture and lab courses across introductory, general, and organic chemistry. The position requires 15 credit hours per semester, office hours, college and community service on campus with potential locations.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching, experience at the community college level, and ability to teach across Physical Science disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry or related field required.
• Two years teaching Chemistry at the high school level or above.
• Experience with technology in teaching science.
• Ability to operate Chemistry laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using traditional and technology-based methods.
• Maintain a 15 contact hours weekly teaching load.
• Communicate syllabi and policies to students in a timely manner.
• Provide weekly office hours for student meetings.
• Collaborate on curricular development and reporting.
• Attend meetings and contribute to college service.
