Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) seeks adjunct Chemistry faculty to teach day and evening courses for majors and non-majors at multiple campus locations in Catonsville, Dundalk and Essex, MD. Instructors will prepare and deliver lectures, submit course materials on time, and coordinate with the department chair.
Availability for one weekly office hour per class is required. Adjunct Level 1 pays $1,085 per credit hour.

Adjunct Physical Science faculty are needed to teach day andevening Majors and Non-majors Introductory, General, and OrganicChemistry courses at the Community College of Baltimore County(campus may vary). Faculty facilitate learning by preparing anddelivering instruction, cooperate with College support staff bytimely submission of materials for duplication and grades, andcoordinate activities with the Department Chairperson or disciplinecoordinator.
Adjunct faculty will be available to help students during oneoffice hour each week (for each class), will participate in someDepartmental or College activities, and are encouraged toparticipate in professional development.
Campus locations: Catonsville, Dundalk & Essex, MD
A Master of Science in Chemistry or related field with appropriatecourse work is required for lecture instructors. A Bachelor ofScience with appropriate education and experience is required forlab instructors. Instructional experience is preferred.
