Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a chemistry/biochemistry professional to oversee analysis, administration and oversight of standard chemistry/biochemistry policies, programs and practices within a lab setting. The role includes guidance to staff and management on testing procedures, results interpretation and process improvements.

The position emphasizes accuracy, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration across teams to drive quality assurance in testing processes and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Continued employment is contingent upon required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status.
• Fundamental principles, practices and techniques of chemistry/biochemistry.
• Understanding of testing tools, instruments and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Provides fundamental analysis in support of standard testing materials, products and/or devices utilizing standard analytical instrumentation.
• Provides fundamental review, analysis, interpretation and documentation of testing results.
• Overseeing or reviewing, completing and processing various types of standard chemistry/biochemistry forms and related materials.
• Interprets and applies department policies and procedures; assists with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
