Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking an analyst to provide and oversee standard chemistry/biochemistry testing and related policy oversight. Responsibilities include analyzing samples with established instrumentation, following SOPs, and documenting results for quality assurance.

The role requires a chemistry/biochemistry background, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience applying standard chemistry/biochemistry methods and instrumentation.
• Ability to review and document testing results and maintain quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide or oversee analysis of samples using standard instrumentation and SOPs.
• Review and interpret testing results and prepare reports.
• Oversee documentation and data entry for chemistry/biochemistry workflows.
• Counsel staff and management on policies and procedures as needed.
• Identify trends and communicate findings to leadership.
• Ensure accuracy of tests, equipment, and databases through audits and reviews.
