Researchers looking for your skills tend to pay up to $60 per hour. You must be prepared to complete paid tasks that require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Physical Science.
• Experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
• Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, REACH, FDA).
• Ability to identify errors in IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
• Ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions clearly and precisely.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated chemistry for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and logic.
• Fact-check reactions & formulas, balance equations, and assess viable, safe synthetic routes.
• Audit model-generated lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations (NMR, IR, Mass Spec).
• Annotate molecular data, correct errors in SMILES, and verify 2D/3D representations and property predictions.
• Monitor safety to prevent instructions for synthesis of hazardous, illicit, or restricted substances.
