Prolific is seeking Chemistry Experts and Chemical Engineers to join our Expert Network to help train and evaluate AI models using real-world chemical expertise. You will complete a brief test to assess fit, then may be invited as a participant with pay for AI tasks.

Researchers seeking your skills may pay up to $60 per hour. Tasks require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter, and you can work from home.

Formación

• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related Physical Science.
• Experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
• Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
• Thorough understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, REACH, FDA).
• Ability to identify errors in IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
• Ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language.
• A PayPal account to receive payment from our clients.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate AI-Generated Chemistry: review model responses for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and logic.
• Fact-Check Reactions & Formulas: validate reactions, balancing equations, and viable, safe synthetic routes.
• Audit Technical Documentation: review lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations (NMR, IR, Mass Spec).
• Annotate Molecular Data: identify and correct errors in SMILES strings and 2D/3D representations.
• Safety Monitoring: ensure outputs do not provide instructions for hazardous, illicit, or restricted substances.
