Researchers seeking your expertise may pay up to $60 per hour. Tasks require about one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter, and you can work from home with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related Physical Science field.
• Experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
• Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
• Thorough understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, REACH, FDA).
• Ability to identify errors in complex IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
• Ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-Generated Chemistry: review model responses for factual accuracy, structural integrity, and logical reasoning.
• Fact-Check Reactions & Formulas: validate AI-generated chemical reactions, balancing equations, and viable synthetic routes.
• Audit Technical Documentation: review lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations for accuracy.
• Annotate Molecular Data: identify and correct errors in SMILES strings, 2D/3D representations, and property predictions.
• Safety Monitoring: ensure outputs do not provide instructions for synthesis of hazardous or restricted substances.
