Prolific Academic Ltd seeks Chemistry Experts and Chemical Engineers to join its Expert Network for AI model training and evaluation. You will assess AI-generated chemistry content, validate reactions, and audit lab documentation, ensuring safety and accuracy.

Eligible candidates have a BS/MS/PhD in chemistry or related field and experience in labs, R&D, or academia. Pay is up to $60/hour, with the option to work from home.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related Physical Science field.
• Experience in laboratory research, industrial chemical processing, pharmaceutical R&D, or academic instruction.
• Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry principles and reaction mechanisms.
• Thorough understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS), GHS standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, REACH, FDA).
• Ability to identify errors in complex IUPAC nomenclature, stoichiometry, molecular geometry, and thermodynamic calculations.
• Ability to explain intricate reaction pathways or molecular interactions in clear, technically accurate language.
• PayPal account to receive payment from our clients.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI-Generated Chemistry: review model responses for factual accuracy, structure, and reasoning.
• Fact-check reactions and formulas: validate AI-generated reactions, balancing equations, viable synthetic routes.
• Audit technical documentation: review lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral interpretations (NMR, IR, Mass Spec).
• Annotate molecular data: correct errors in SMILES, 2D/3D representations, and property predictions.
• Safety monitoring: ensure AI outputs do not provide instructions for synthesis of hazardous substances.
