Job summary

Safe Foods, a Division of Fortrex, seeks a Chemist II to lead formulation and innovation projects for sanitation and antimicrobial interventions. The role involves multidisciplinary work across laboratories and production settings, driving new product development from ideation to commercialization and supporting quality investigations.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and QA teams, applying scientific rigor to create cost-effective, compliant products for a broad food-industry

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science.
3–5 years of related experience.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Experience formulating sanitizers, antimicrobials, CIP, and other interventions.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize and design sanitation/intervention formulations.
Design and execute experiments for new formulations.
Lead process improvement experiments for manufacturing processes.
Support CAPA investigations and product quality.
