Job summary

Fortrex in Kieler, WI is seeking a Research and Development Chemist to join our expanding team. You will support chemical product manufacturing facilities and drive innovation across cleaning solutions, sanitizers, and processing aids.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, or engineering and 1–3 years in an R&D or lab setting, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills in a GMP/GLP environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, or engineering or other related scientific field.
• 1-3 years of related experience in a research and development, product development, and/or laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for chemical product manufacturing facilities (internal and external).
• Contribute to and drive key innovation projects and enhance existing solutions.
• Work across processing, distribution, chemistry, and dispensing/control solutions in multiple applications.
