Incora is seeking a Chemical Buyer to manage high-volume chemical purchasing, supplier relations, and contract negotiations while delivering exceptional customer service. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries and adherence to procurement standards.

The role emphasizes market awareness, cost optimization, and collaboration across departments, including leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Organize and monitor complex chemical purchasing activities for high-volume clients.
• Stay updated on market trends for assigned categories and develop sourcing strategies.
• Identify alternate chemical suppliers and evaluate them for cost, quality, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess supplier performance on cost, quality, and innovation.
• Review requisitions for accuracy and resolve issues with relevant departments.
• Contact suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and determine availability and delivery terms.
• Execute duties with accuracy and meet performance metrics; escalate issues when needed.
• Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day supply chain service activities.
• Ensure supplier contract requirements and site/client compliance; maintain ethical standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee chemical purchasing for high-volume clients.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage lead times and on-time delivery.
• Interact with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor open POs and expedite where needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve complex client issues.
• Ensure compliance with site and client procurement requirements.
