Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Warehouse Operator in the United States, New York area. The role involves loading and unloading liquids and dry chemicals, inspecting equipment, and maintaining precise inventory records.

You will operate forklifts, connect/disconnect transfer hoses, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on, physical role requiring attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of chemical operations experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before and after loading/unloading operations.
• Verify product against receiving/shipping documents and report discrepancies.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts to transport product within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory records.
