Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Operator in Kingston, NY to safely load/unload liquid and dry chemicals, operate forklifts, and maintain inventory records in a fast-paced facility.

You will inspect equipment, verify documents, assist with repackaging, and follow regulatory requirements. High school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and basic English literacy are required; willingness to work varied shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Candidates with chemical operations experience (2+ years) may be considered if education or service requirements are not fully met.
• Possess or able to pass Forklift Operators certification and demonstrate forklift operation safety.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions in English and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measure in all units.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered/manual forklift and maintain daily checklist.
• Repackage products into proper containers with correct labeling and storage.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and document discrepancies.
• Inspect tanks, tankers, and railcars before/after loading/unloading operations.
