Job summary

The Warehouse Operator at Brenntag will safely and efficiently handle liquid and dry chemical products, loading and unloading from trucks, tankers, and railcars, while operating forklifts and maintaining precise inventory records in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.

Responsibilities include verifying documents, repackaging with proper labeling, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience in chemical operations preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Forklift Operator certification and operate forklifts safely.
• Ability to read basic documents and write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts with certification; perform daily forklift checks.
• Repackage products into proper containers with correct labeling and storage.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory records in appropriate systems.
• Assist in counting physical inventory and ensure clean, safe warehouse conditions.
