Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to load/unload liquid and dry chemicals, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate logs in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read English instructions, and willingness to pass drug screen, background check, and E-verify. Training and safety programs are provided; overtime and varying shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate forklifts safely.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out English instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to learn and operate technology-based devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, PLCs, etc.
• Meet production requirements based on information and equipment used in the course of work performance.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered and manual industrial lift trucks (with certification) to transport product in the warehouse.
• Repackage product into proper containers and label per regulations.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory counts.
• Ensure warehouse is clean, safe, and adheres to safety policies.
• Follow pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-verify; participate in safety program.
