Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. in Reading, PA is hiring a Warehouse Operator. You will safely load/unload liquid and dry chemicals, operate forklifts, repackage and stage products, and maintain accurate inventory and logs in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, regulatory compliance and strong safety practices. Candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED, and have or be able to obtain forklift certification, with experience in chemical operations a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Possess or able to pass Forklift Operators certification and demonstrate safe forklift operation.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions in English; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; learn and operate technology-based devices (smartphones, tablets, computers, PLCs).
• Meet or exceed production requirements based on information and equipment used in work performance.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate powered and manual forklifts with certification and maintain daily forklift checklist.
• Repackage products into proper containers, label, store, and stage for delivery according to specs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and logs; inspect tanks, railcars, and equipment before/after loading.
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and assist in general maintenance and housekeeping.
