Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator to handle loading, unloading, and staging chemicals safely in Reading, PA. You will operate forklifts, inspect shipments, maintain logs, and support quality control in coordination with lab personnel.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, ability to read English, and commitment to safety and compliance, including drug screening and background checks. OT may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• Forklift certification and safe operation.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out detailed instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Ability to learn and operate technology-based devices (smartphones, tablets, computers, PLCs).
• Meet or exceed production requirements based on information or equipment.
• Wear safety equipment as prescribed by company.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must attain TWIC card for MTSA sites where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload and prepare/load products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate forklifts and maintain daily safety checklist.
• Inspect tanks and verify product against receiving/shipping documents; log discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory and records; assist in counting physical stock.
• Store hazardous waste per regulations and company policy.
