Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator to safely handle liquid and dry chemical products, load/unload trucks, tankers, and railcars, and maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

This hands-on role requires forklift certification, attention to detail, ability to work overtime or weekends, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements; documentation and quality control are key.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
• 2+ years of chemical operations experience preferred.
• Forklift certification and safe operation required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• Basic math and unit conversions ability.
• Ability to use tech devices (smartphones, tablets, computers).
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and any shift.
• Adhere to safety equipment rules and placarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload liquid and dry chemical products from trucks, tankers, and railcars.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment with certification and perform daily checks.
• Repackage products into proper containers with correct labeling.
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory counts.
• Inspect tanks, tankers, and railcars before and after loading/unloading.
• Assist with quality checks in coordination with lab personnel.
