Job summary

Technip Energies is seeking a Chemical Process Technologist based at the Weymouth Research Center in Weymouth, MA. You will lead technology development programs focused on energy transition and sustainable chemistry, driving scale-up from concept to pilot plants.

The role requires a PhD and 5–10 years of experience in process design or technology commercialization, with strong modeling, experimental, and collaborative skills for fast-paced R&D projects.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in chemical process design, development, or technology commercialization.
• Demonstrated experience with catalytic reaction processes.
• Knowledge of chemical analytical techniques, experimental design, and data analysis methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects and deliver results under demanding timelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage chemical process technology development programs from concept through implementation.
• Evaluate chemical processes through process modeling, simulation, and economic analysis.
• Design and execute experimental programs to support technology development objectives.
• Oversee the design, construction, operation, modification, and maintenance of bench-scale and pilot-scale process development equipment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners to advance technology development initiatives.
• Support innovation efforts in Energy Transition, Renewable Fuels, Sustainable Chemistry, and related technologies.
