Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Chemical Operator at our Fort Scott, KS site to safely prepare, weigh, charge, mix, and process raw materials according to established procedures in a chemical manufacturing environment.

The role ensures batches meet specifications, operates equipment safely, and maintains accurate documentation while collaborating with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams. Experience with GMP/ISO standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Chemical Operator certification 1 & 2 or comparable technical training/experience in manufacturing is required.
• Some experience with PLC-controlled equipment, batch processing or automated systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare, weigh, charge, mix, and process raw materials per SOPs.
• Operate and monitor mixers, blenders, reactors, pumps, scales, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate batch documentation and 5S housekeeping.
• Perform in-process checks (temperature, viscosity, pH, weight) to ensure specs.
• Report deviations to Lead or Quality Manager immediately.

Education

Plc - controlled equipment experience
