Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Chemical / Process Engineering Intern for our Advanced Facilities – Adv. Manufacturing team in Greenville, SC or Appleton, WI. You will work on state-of-the-art projects, supporting process design, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs under mentorship.

You’ll develop flow diagrams, perform sizing calculations, and gain exposure to tools like PipeFlo, AFT Fathom, and SmartPlant while building technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in chemical engineering.
• Familiarity with process diagrams and plant design software is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and work on interdisciplinary engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop flow diagrams and sizing calculations for pipes and equipment.
• Create process specifications for projects.
• Use software tools (PipeFlo, AFT Fathom, SmartPlant) to support design tasks.
