Job summary

Jacobs is seeking Process/Chemical Engineering Interns to join our Advanced Facilities teams in Pittsburgh, PA. You will support engineers on critical projects, develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs, and gain exposure to software like PipeFlo and SmartPlant.

You'll work under expert mentorship, expanding technical skills and participating in a hybrid work model with opportunities to contribute to state-of-the-art projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous internship or project experience in engineering.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of PFDs and P&IDs and equipment specs.
• Perform sizing calculations for piping and equipment.
• Develop process specifications under guidance of engineers.
• Model processes using PipeFlo, AFT Fathom, and SmartPlant.
