Job summary

Jacobs is seeking Process/Chemical Engineering Interns to join our Advanced Facilities team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will support professional engineers on critical projects, learn to develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs, and gain hands-on experience with industry software, while contributing to real-world solutions.

You will be mentored by engineers and designers, expand your technical skills, and contribute to successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited program
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Previous relevant internship or project experience
• Visa Sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this role

Responsibilities

• Develop flow diagrams and process specifications under guidance
• Perform sizing calculations for pipe and equipment
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs and equipment specifications
• Model complex processes using software such as PipeFlo, AFT Fathom, Bluebeam, and SmartPlant
