Job summary

Nexus Engineering Group is seeking a Process Engineer Intern or Co-op in Cleveland to assist with design deliverables and calculations. You will work with other process engineers and interface with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive packages for clients.

You will gain exposure to process modeling tools and learn about process safety and industry codes while contributing to real projects under mentorship. This role offers hands-on growth in a consulting EPCm setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering at an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work within diverse teams from Nexus, clients and others.
• Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Experience with process modeling software (Aspen/HYSYS/ChemCAD) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and calculations for design projects under supervision.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs and PFDs.
• Assist experienced engineers and interface with other disciplines.
