Job summary

Gallman Consulting is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer for the Greater Columbia, SC area to lead and support new product introductions from lab to full-scale production. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain to improve throughput, cycle time, yield, and equipment utilization.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensure process safety and regulatory compliance, and contribute to capital expansion efforts with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Process engineering or chemical manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience driving process improvements and operating efficiencies.
• Ability to work with production personnel and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support new product introductions from laboratory and pilot environments into full-scale production.
• Help commercialize planned product transfers and manufacturing launches.
• Serve as a technical resource for existing product lines and future production capabilities.
• Collaborate with operations to troubleshoot production issues and improve plant performance.
• Drive throughput, cycle-time reduction, yield optimization, and equipment utilization.
• Assist with evaluation, startup, and optimization of new manufacturing assets and capacity expansions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, batch procedures, and operating standards.
• Support process safety, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and change management.
