Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to support the development, scale-up, and implementation of new manufacturing processes at the metro Nashville, TN facility. The role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, and other technical teams to move processes from development to production while driving process improvements and equipment implementation.

The position emphasizes hands-on machining, safety, quality, and cost management within a continuous-process manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of process or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in a continuous-process manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with process controls, P&IDs, capital projects and/or commissioning preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support process development, scale-up and implementation of new manufacturing capabilities.
• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, reliability, throughput and cost.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze process data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assist with capital projects, equipment modifications, installation, commissioning and startup activities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, operating procedures and technical standards.
• Participate in process safety reviews, risk assessments and structured problem-solving activities.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams.

Education
