Dow Inc. is seeking an Operator for the Sabine River Operations in Orange, Texas. The role focuses on safe, reliable plant operation and shift-based teamwork to anticipate and resolve issues within the team’s scope.

Qualifications

• Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 12-hour shift including holidays and weekends.
• Valid US driver’s license and legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment and monitor conditions to meet plant goals.
• Follow safety and operating discipline policies for reliable operation.
• Be part of Emergency Response Team and complete required training.
• Mentor and train team members in process operation and troubleshooting.
• Handle planned and unplanned tasks and communicate handoffs between shifts.
• Escalate unresolved issues to support roles as needed.
• Identify improvements using facility processes and change management.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training in a timely manner.
• Perform immediate response and severe weather activities as assigned.

Military experience in lieu of degree
