Job summary

Dow has an exciting Operator opportunity at Sabine River Operations in Texas. You will actively operate plant equipment, monitor process conditions, and contribute to safe, reliable performance.

You will join a shift team focused on continuous improvement and quick escalation of issues to the right support roles. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years in chemical manufacturing operations (or 3+ years of military experience), and a valid US driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a chemical manufacturing operations role or 3+ years in military service as equivalent.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime, including holidays and weekends.
• Must have a valid US driver's license and be able to work legally in the US.

Responsibilities

• Follow operating discipline to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.
• Operate process equipment and monitor performance metrics to meet site goals.
• Serve on-site Emergency Response Team and complete required training.
• Conduct shift relief to ensure effective handoff to oncoming shift.
