Job summary

Aurorium is seeking a Chemical Operator to support the manufacture of finished products at our Denham Springs site. The role involves operating catalyst columns and plant equipment, following SOPs, and assisting the Senior Operator with distillation and reactor processes.

You will complete shift log sheets, help with batch formulation, and ensure inventory control. The position requires a High School diploma and 1–3 years in petrochemical manufacturing, with a rotation of 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PTEC Certification preferred.
• 1–3 years petrochemical industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates catalyst columns.
• Operate plant equipment per SOPs.
• Assist Senior Operator on distillation and reactor operations.
• Complete log sheets and maintain inventory records.
• Prepare batches and weigh finished product.
• Pump finished product into storage vessels and operate vessels/reactors.
• Perform maintenance and LOTO procedures.
• Support storm water and wastewater treatment maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment.
