Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse, chemical handling, industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe handling procedures for chemicals.
  • Experience with inventory management, material staging, and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially documentation and QC.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Receive, inspect, log, and store incoming chemical shipments with proper labeling.
  • Track inventory, perform cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and communicate restocking needs.
  • Perform glycol blending operations per internal QC procedures and document batches.
  • Collect, label, and maintain glycol batch samples for QA and recordkeeping.
  • Stage equipment, materials, drums, and totes for field service jobs and deliveries.
  • Prepare materials for shipment with correct packaging, labeling, and transport accessibility.
  • Maintain logs for warehouse and blending equipment; perform basic preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with operations, field crews, purchasing, and customer service to align activities.

Job description

As a Chemical Operator at our Stoughton, MA facility and play a critical role in supporting environmental field services, chemical distribution, and glycol blending operations.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Receive, inspect, log, and properly store incoming chemical shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and regulatory compliance.
  • Track inventory levels, perform routine cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and communicate restocking needs.
  • Perform glycol blending operations in accordance with internal quality control procedures and ensure proper documentation of all blended batches.
  • Collect, label, and maintain glycol batch samples for quality assurance and recordkeeping.
  • Stage equipment, materials, drums, and totes in advance of field service jobs and outbound deliveries to ensure crew readiness.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring correct packaging, labeling, and accessibility for transport.
  • Maintain logs for warehouse and blending equipment, perform basic preventative maintenance, and coordinate repairs as necessary.
  • Collaborate with operations teams, field crews, purchasing, and customer service to ensure alignment between warehouse activities and business needs.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a warehouse, chemical handling, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe handling procedures for chemicals and industrial materials.
  • Experience with inventory management, material staging, and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly related to documentation and quality control.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to lift and move materials in an industrial setting and work in a physically active environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with glycol blending, chemical distribution, or environmental services operations is highly preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $28.00/hr. - $32.00/hr. (depending on experience)
