Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. (ROI) is seeking a Chemical Field & Lab Technician to join our growing team in Worcester, MA. The role blends field operations with laboratory testing, focusing on chemical analysis, data entry, and adherence to safety standards.

Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a two-person team, with flexibility for overtime on Saturdays. Pre-employment drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with chemical handling and testing procedures.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test and background check.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours, with potential for overtime on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• As a Chemical Field & Lab Technician, you will support both field operations and laboratory testing efforts.
• Performing chemical testing on drums, including balance, specific gravity, and pH analysis.
• Labeling drums with appropriate S-Codes in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Accurately entering testing data into internal systems for tracking and compliance.
• Supporting both field and lab activities as part of a two-person team.
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA 40 guidelines.
• Ensuring proper use of PPE, including maintaining a clean-shaven appearance for respirator fit.
