Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. is seeking laborers to support construction projects across our New England footprint. The role involves site labor, handling materials, and assisting with installation tasks in adherence to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities include directing site traffic, operating hand tools and basic equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized work area with reliable transportation and strong references.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
  • Demolition experience is required.
  • Able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed.
  • Strong references to support work history.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.

Job description

Position Responsibilities:
  • Navigate construction job site terrain and be familiar with working in the roadway.
  • Direct traffic within construction site when necessary to ensure safety of work crew.
  • Assist with the loading and delivery of materials.
  • Demolition & debris removal; site maintenance/cleaning.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations, as well, as, company policy and procedures.
  • Provide labor support by understanding and following directions
  • Assists mechanic to position, align, and fit together construction components to complete the installation of systems and work assigned in a timely and quality fashion.
  • Maintain a clean work area and ensure tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely.
  • General site labor, use of hand tools such as a sledgehammer, crowbars, and other hand tools
  • Use large and small equipment (Skid steers, off-road dumps, water truck for dust control etc.)
  • Performing specialized tasks which will require on-site training
  • Power washing outbound truck lanes
  • Sifting through the debris from the conveyor belt in order to QC/QA sediment
Qualifications:

Pay Range: $20/hr. - $24/hr.
