Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Production Technician for chemical mixing on 2nd or 3rd shift in High Point, NC. The role requires 1+ year in a plant/manufacturing environment and will involve training on the 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.

The position offers a wage of $22.50 per hour with a $1.25 shift differential for the 2nd and 3rd shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Chemicals experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate or tend machines to mix or blend ingredients according to batch cards.
• Regulate machines and ingredients to meet production and inventory levels.
• Maintain highest level of quality at all times.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing.
• Clean machine and workstation after each job.
