Job summary

Axalta in High Point, NC is seeking a Production Technician for the 2nd and 3rd shifts to mix chemicals and operate batch processes. This role trains on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd/3rd shifts, with a starting wage of $22.50 per hour plus a $1.25 shift differential.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, tolerance for physical work, and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read batch cards and perform basic math.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend ingredients.
• Regulate machines to meet production and inventory levels.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing and ensure quality.
• Clean machines and workstation after each job.
