Nico Products in Minneapolis is seeking a Chemical Maintenance technician for the 1st shift to maintain production tanks and handle chemicals on the shop floor. This is a hands-on role requiring forklift operation, chemical additions, and adherence to safety procedures.

You’ll earn starting pay of $28.00/hour with OT eligibility and a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires, plus annual incentive opportunities like attendance rewards and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience with hazardous waste or industrial chemical handling.
• Able to read labels and safety data sheets and follow procedures.
• Willingness to operate a forklift and move chemical drums.

Responsabilités

• Make chemical additions to production tanks based on lab results and procedures.
• Verify chemical, tank, and quantity before adding.
• Operate forklift and move chemical drums and supplies.
• Follow chemical-handling, storage, labeling, and waste-handling procedures.
• Read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets.
• Complete required records accurately.
• Keep storage and work areas clean and organized.
