Qualifications

• Experience with hazardous waste or industrial chemical handling.
• Knowledge of chemical compatibility and safe handling.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and labels.
• Comfort around industrial chemicals with safety practices.
• English reading/writing/speaking to follow instructions.
• Basic math for quantities and additions.
• Willingness to operate a forklift and complete training.
• Reliable attendance for full shifts.
• Willingness to perform physical shop work.

Responsibilities

• Make chemical additions to production tanks based on lab testing and procedures.
• Verify correct chemical, tank, and quantity before adding.
• Operate forklift to move chemical drums and supplies.
• Follow chemical-handling, storage, labeling and waste procedures.
• Read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets.
• Complete required records accurately.
• Keep storage and work areas clean and organized.
• Communicate with lab and production teams about maintenance needs.
• Stop and ask for guidance when unclear.
