Job summary

Nico Products seeks an experienced Industrial / Production Maintenance Technician for 1st shift in Minneapolis, MN. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, pumps, motors, valves, and extensive plastic piping systems essential to our metal-finishing processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance in an industrial setting, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will respond to breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and support process reliability.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial/production maintenance is required.
Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of production machinery and equipment.
Experience with pumps, motors, valves, and mechanical systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Experience with process piping; PVC/CPVC or other plastic piping experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production machinery and equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, valves, and related mechanical systems.
Maintain and repair plastic process piping used to move chemicals through production.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems.
