Job summary

LanceSoft in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Chemical Lab Technician II to support customer-oriented R&D projects and pilot-scale manufacturing. You will perform lab experiments daily, document results, and communicate findings to engineers and the lab manager.

This is an on-site, 12+ month position with a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm shift and a pay rate of $23.00 per hour on W2. A Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of lab experience are required, with wet chemistry skills and solid

Qualifications

• Wet chemistry experience required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• 2+ years lab experience in an industrial or pilot plant environment.
• 100% onsite - drug screening; on-site interviews may follow.

• Contribute ideas to improve safety, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of the lab and team

Job Description

The lab technician will be supervised by engineers and lab manager and is expected to be able to independently function in the scope provided below.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab experiments daily, document and communication results to support customer-oriented R&D projects
• Adhere to all safety procedures in conducting daily work, handling chemical and operating lab equipment
• Support customer sample manufacturing in pilot scale
• Assist shipping and receiving of chemicals
• Responsible for lab maintenance and inventory
• Exhibit flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Contribute ideas that improve the safety, efficiency and/or the overall effectiveness of the laboratory and team

SKILLS

• Wet chemistry skills (required)
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience with semiconductor processing is a plus

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree

EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years of lab experience;preferably in an industrial or pilot plant environment

Qualifications

100% onsite No additional medical exams needed at this time other than drug screening. 30min Phone interview can possibly follow with an onsite interview later on.
