Job summary

LanceSoft is hiring a Formulation Technician in Sunnyvale, CA to assemble, pack, and test resin products on unique instruments. You will record results, complete work-orders, and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and safety policies in a lab setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and about 1 year of manufacturing or lab experience. Proficiency with SOPs, basic weighing, hand tools, and PC software is expected; chromatography software and chemistry experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of manufacturing/lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GLP/GMP and lab practices, good math and organizational skills.
• Ability to read SOPs and follow verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools (wrenches, torque drivers, tweezers).
• PC literate; experience with spreadsheets and databases.
• Chromatography software knowledge and chemistry background a plus.
• Basic ability to weigh multiple components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, pack, and test resin products on specialized instruments.

• Maintain clean, organized lab environment; keep logs/records up to date.

Title: Formulation Technician Location: Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 0-12+ Months Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday Pay range: $23.00/Hour - $23.00/Hour

Job Duties:

• Assembly, packing, and testing of resin products on unique instruments to meet customer demand.
• Record and report test results accurately and maintain proper documentation.
• Complete production work-orders according to established procedures.
• Follow corporate quality policy to ensure high-quality standards.
• Follow safety requirements and actively participate in safety improvement activities!
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Maintain related logs and records
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of business goals
• May be required to work overtime

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field preferred
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices and standards. Good mathematical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Excellent verbal and written skills Read and understand written procedures (SOPs) and follow verbal instructions. Familiarity with hand tools regularly used (wrenches, torque drivers, tweezer, etc.) PC literate and have experience with spreadsheet and database software. Knowledge of Chromatography software and chemistry experience a plus. Basic experience in weighting multiple components required

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Regularly required to sit, stand;walk;use hands & fingers to handle & feel.
• Visual abilities to detect small components and particles.
• Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise level.
• PPE requirements: lab coat, Safety glasses, gloves, face shields, & safety shoes (all company provided.) P95 Mask in the areas that have exposure of solvent fumes

Work Schedule / Environmental Conditions

• Day Shit, Monday through Friday Monday –Friday 6: 00AM to 2: 30PM with overtime and weekend hours as needed
• Able to lift 40 lbs. Without assistance
• Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards Laboratory Setting Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) Standing for full shift Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.) Will work with hazardous/toxic materials
