Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Lab Technician in Hillsboro, OR for a 12-month contract. The role involves performing daily lab experiments, documenting results, and supporting customer-focused R&D projects.

You will follow safety procedures, handle chemicals, and operate lab equipment in a 100% onsite setting. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of lab experience, preferably in industrial or pilot plant environments, with basic MS Office skills and good communication

Responsibilities

• Perform lab experiments daily and document results for R&D projects.

• Assist shipping and receiving of chemicals.
• Maintain lab inventory and upkeep.
• Be flexible to changing priorities and contribute ideas to improve lab safety and efficiency.

Job Description

The lab technician will be supervised by engineers and lab manager and is expected to be able to independently function in the scope provided below.

Perform lab experiments daily, document and communicate results to support customer-oriented R&D projects

Adhere to all safety procedures in conducting daily work, handling chemical and operating lab equipment

Support customer sample manufacturing in pilot scale

Assist shipping and receiving of chemicals

Responsible for lab maintenance and inventory

Exhibit flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities

Contribute ideas that improve the safety, efficiency and/or the overall effectiveness of the laboratory and team

Skills required

• Wet chemistry skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience with semiconductor processing is a plus
• Must be highly organized, comfortable with operating in a team environment, flexible and capable of adapting to priority changes on a regular basis.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required.
