Job summary

Materion is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Analyst to analyze, test, inspect materials, and record results to ensure specifications are met. This role supports daily production as well as research and development tasks in a collaborative laboratory setting.

You will perform chemical analyses, assist with sample preparation, maintain testing databases, and execute basic equipment maintenance. Occasional overtime and 2nd/3rd shift availability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in math, chemistry, or material science is helpful.
• Laboratory experience in chemical analysis is a plus.
• Exposure to ISO 17025 is helpful.
• Strong writing and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and on second/third shifts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, test, and inspect materials and record results to meet specifications.
• Perform daily production laboratory tasks and R&D work.
• Conduct chemical analysis and assist with sample preparation.
• Enter data and maintain testing databases.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and provide process analysis.
• Work second or third shift as needed.
