Materion is seeking an Analytical Chemist to perform analytical testing of in‑house products using ICP-OES, ICP-MS and AAS, and to support the lab team in meeting ISO 17025. You will work with the Senior Analytical Chemist to develop methods, qualify new equipment, and ensure timely, high‑quality test results.

You will train colleagues, maintain instruments, and handle data entry in LIMS and SAP while adhering to safety and quality rules.

Qualifications

• STEM degree preferred; or a HS diploma/technical schooling with 3–7 years in an analytical lab.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound decision making with limited input.
• Proficient with Excel, LIMS and common office software.

Responsabilités

• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS).
• Develop and validate test methods and QC procedures with Senior Analytical Chemist.
• Provide technical support on equipment, methods and data handling (LIMS, SAP).
• Write/review SOPs and train lab personnel on instrument use and data entry.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, quality and safety rules.
